Perrysburg, OH - Winterfest
I love visiting Small towns! They are charming, full of heart and always have the best hidden gems. I had the opportunity to visit Perrysburg, OH for their annual Winterfest February 2020. This event celebrates all the fun the season has to offer while bringing the community together and supporting local businesses.
Winterfest
This season themed festival can be found throughout the entire town. From specialty drinks and menu surprises to open houses and discounted retail. Perrysburg, Ohio showcased many ice carvers and their beautiful work along the downtown center. In addition, the town hosts a large tent where various events are held throughout the weekend including family friendly activities during the day and fun adult themed parties at night. There is so much fun to be had all weekend long.
This quaint local wine store may look small but it stretches back; felt like wonderland. You can enjoy a wine tasting and a small snack with a group of friends, your significant other or to just treat yourself. I personally love the selection of wines Suburban Bottle has. For the Winterfest Suburban bottle had a spiked hot chocolate bar; it was the perfect treat.
This local coffee shop has two locations (Perrysburg and Downtown Toledo). I had to take a step inside and checkout their seasonal item Neapolitan iced coffee. Yes, it does taste as pretty as it looks! The sweet taste of the vanilla followed by the fruity surprise of the strawberry coming together with their amazing cold brew topped with edible glitter! If you are in town I highly suggest you visit this location!
I had to show you this vintage filled store ( I am a sucker for vintage). I like coming in and hunting out those unique items you can’t find anywhere else. Plus, when I am looking for inspiration for decorating my home this store is my first stop.
I had to step inside here and show you around. This store front houses great craft and workshops for locals of all ages and hosts camps for the kiddos. In addition you will find Micheal Provenza’s Disney Art. He is a local and is licensed in Disney Fine Art.
Perrysburg, Ohio is full of charm and fun. In addition to Winterfest, they host many other events throughout the year. When looking for a day trip I hope you consider visiting Perrysburg, Ohio.
