Four Reasons to Stay at the Lowes Sapphire Falls at Universal Orlando, FL

I’ve been to Disney World multiple times but hardly do I visit Universal Orlando, FL let alone stay on their resort property. For a girls trip we decided to pack up to attend Hogwarts…I mean the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and stay on site. Out of all the options we chose the Lowes Sapphire Falls and here are four reasons why:

The location and price just couldn’t be beat!

Out of all the options this was both the one that fit our budget, location and expectations. It has a 7-minute walking path to the center of City Walk and a water taxi to get you to the parks. The other resorts were out of budget or required a bus.

Poolside is where it is at!

Aside from the convenience in location, the pool was my favorite. It had a zero-entry that looked like a sand bank in the middle of the pool, a splash pad for the kiddos, hot tub, waterslide and designated areas with white sand to help with those #beachvibes. In addition to the water fun they also had the Drhum Club Kantine and a firepit.

Onsite amenities make this resort a great option for group trips.

In addition to the Drhum Club Kantine the resort also has Amastista Cookhouse, Strong Water Tavern, New Dutch Trading Co., arcade, fitness center and souvenir shop.

Amatista Cookhouse – This restaurant is located by the water taxies and has Caribbean inspired cuisine. Their breakfast buffet is a great option to start your long park day off.

Strong Water Tavern – In addition to food items, Strong Water Tavern has an array of vintage rum selections you can sample during a tasting.

New Dutch Trading Co. – This is a cross between a grab-and-go store and a coffee shop. In addition to items you can purchase and eat on the go you can also order items such as coffees, wraps, sandwiches and even ice cream.

The Souvenir Shop – Having a Universal Store onsite is convenient, but the best part is being able to order an item from inside the park and have it delivered to the store in your resort.

Spacious, comfortable rooms

Out of all the resorts onsite Lowes Sapphire Falls delivered on the needs of four women. The beds are comfortable, rooms spacious but the best part is the sink and vanity being separated outside from the shower and toilet. This made getting ready between four women so much easier.

*My only suggestion to Lowes Sapphire Falls is to get better lighting near the full-length mirror (located by the door). It is a great extra place to get ready but the lighting is tough to work with when doing makeup.

Overall, we are satisfied with our stay and honestly will book a future trip. If you are planning on staying at Lowes Sapphire Falls here are 5 tips to keep in mind. Check out more Extended Weekend Travel Guides here.
