The past 2 years we booked our plane tickets first and then we missed out on early bird deals that were available through Disney. 2.)    My Disney…

    Cedar Point Dos and Don’ts

This past weekend I had the opportunity to spend time with friends at Cedar Point. One individual ,in the friend group, was not from Ohio and had no idea what to expect. It was then I realized not many people know my “local” tricks and hacks to making a fun, efficient and cheap trip to Cedar Point. Being a 419 local I have traveled to Cedar Point so many times the Millennium Force doesn’t phase me (The Dragster is a different story).  Here are my Do’s and Don’ts when visiting Cedar Point:      “Dude, where’s my car?” Parking can be daunting at the front entrance. Cars lined up in…

We have all done a guided tour. Whether for a class trip or as an adult you have been stuck with a group of people for a period of time learning about history. For those who don’t know I went to Virginia for vacation; you can read all about it under Road Trip-Virginia and Road Trip-Virginia Pt 2. I visited Monticello where this story takes place. Road Trip-Virginia Pt 2

While I was excited for our historical adventure to Charlotteville, VA I was slightly depressed leaving the beach. A little back story on how this trip came to be. My boyfriend and I wanted to go on vacation during the holiday and after tossing around a few ideas we thought a road trip would be fun. I used the app Roadtrippers to map out a few routes that took us to Hartford, CT, Ocean City, NJ, Pittsburg, PA and even Myrtle Beach, NC. Every proposal I gave him he always went back to Virginia Beach; this had never been on my radar before. I finally asked “Why Virginia Beach Kyle?!…

    Road Trip-Virginia

There is something about road trips that make traveling more fun. They aren’t for everyone but definitely worth it if you ever get the chance. Deciding to take on a 10 hour car ride with my significant other was debated but after crunching numbers the savings in travel expenses were worth the miles on the car. We also used Airbnb for accommodations and had intentions to visit both Virginia Beach and Charlottesville. We had it planned to leave at 6 am in the morning and packed a cooler to reduce the amount of stops in hopes of arriving sooner. No 10 hour car ride would be complete without listening to all…

Thank Goodness for Friends in Cali

Ever since I could remember I wanted to live in California. I dreamed (and still do) of working in Hollywood and helping produce cinematography that brings hope and inspiration to dreamers everywhere. After becoming a semi-finalist for the Academy of Television Arts and Science Foundation internship program I knew I was half way there. I was going to live in the land of dreams and contribute to art that everyone could use to escape from reality. Sadly I did not get a call back for the internship and I am still in the process of achieving my dreams. One evening while Disneyland was celebrating their 60th anniversary I said to myself…
